I am *so* less productive when it’s gray and gloomy. I look out the window and all I want to do is crawl back into bed or curl up with a movie! Apparently, I’m in the minority here!!

I’m with you guys. Not sure if it’s because I “have to stay indoors and batten down the hatches” so to speak. I can remember feeling this way when I was in elementary school. I loved the days when we had to stay inside due to weather. So much more focus for some reason!

I can wake up tired and sluggish and then look outside and see snow/rain/cloudy skies and I get all perked up. I get more work done by far on days like that. As I said yesterday on Twitter: “I call them my Addams Family days. My husbands call this a sexy weather day. Whatever its called they are perfect!!!”

Gloomy weather definitely makes me more productive. Part of it is that when it’s nice outside, I usually get distracted daydreaming about what a lovely day it is and how I’d much rather be outside. I love it when it’s overcast though, it just puts me in a good mood for some reason.
